Xbox 360 wired controller causing problems with drivers

I've searched all over the internet and nothing helped me. Everytime I play games with my xbox 360 controller, the controller drivers get damaged after unplugging the controller... When I go to settings>Devices>Controller, it says "DRIVER ERROR". And in
device manager, all drivers related to the controller aren't working properly. The driver "HID compliant game controller" has a yellow triangle on it... And one last thing, Everytime I try to fix the problem by shutting it down, it gives me a Blue Screen and
restarts.. although it gets fixed, but after using the controller again it comes back, over and over and over... Please help me

Sorry that doesn't help at all. I had this controller for years now and it used to work well.. and that is not clearly the solution to my a issue.

You can't, however you can use a WIRED Xbox 360 controller to play games on a pc as the drivers for the wired controller are built into Windows

There is no driver to download or update for Xbox 360 controllers on Windows 10. You just plug them in.

Note: Xbox 360 wireless controllers can not be turned into wired controllers. A 360 play and charge cable can only charge a battery or power the controller if no battery is present, it does not send data.

If you have a wired 360 controller just plug it in, no driver required
If your controller is wireless, you need an Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows.

Is your Controller. wired or wireless? If you've plugged your wireless Controller in using a play and charge, im affraid you're out of luck. The 360 wireless Controller remains wireless It can't be made Into a wired controller.

All windows versions after Windows XP have the Xbox 360 controller drivers pre-installed, there is no driver to install.
