Xbox 360 Wired Controller - Black screen and freezing

each time it's freeze, I press the xbox button on my controller and my controller vibrate, I wait 1 minute and then the screen goes black and the xbox completly freeze.

My Onza died so I got an original wired Xbox 360 black controller.

Freezing can be caused by several problems. Does it only affect black ops 2, and only when playing multiplayer? I suggest you start off by taking a look at this troubleshooter:

when you are trying to use the controller on the Xbox 360, do you do that with or without the wireless usb adapter.

Be sure to try it without when trying, since it shouldn't be needed on the 360 console. Use the pairing buttons on console and controller to establish a connection like show here:

Okay, please have a look at the
Screen Freeze Solution page as that may help you in terms of the freezing screen issue. Also, try playing another game and see if a similar problem appears - if not, and the copy of Black Ops 2 was recently purchased, try going to the store of purchase
and request a swap. (Only if the same problem does not persist on alternate games)
