Xbox 360 wired controller audio jack broken

I have a custom built Xbox 360 controller that was 200 bucks. It works great, but I just bought a new turtle beach headset and suddenly the audio jack doesn't work. It worked fine with my only head set, but that one broke. If there are any tips on how
to fix the audio input, that would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to use my old controller that barley works.

    :)

Audio jack is working for you?

I have same problems with this controller. Drivers are broken. Microsoft shame on you.

Xbox One S Controller on PC - horrible audio quality

I've bought Xbox One S Controller for BT connection and audio jack port.

When I connect it wireless - controleller works fine, but audio quality is HORRIBLE.

When I connect it wired - audio is ok.

Windows 10 see this controller as a Hands-Free Headset and there is no option to set better quality than 16 bit 8000Hz (phone quality).

Well I am sorry to hear about your controller.

But due to it being against the TOU to disassemble/modify Xbox related equipment, nobody on this forum can help you.

I am very sorry, but the best thing you can do at this point is get a new controller.
