xbox 360 wired and wireless controllers all have left stick glitch suddenly today

As per subject title - all four of our xbox 360 controllers, two wired and two wireless, are experiencing the same left stick issue suddenly today where the stick input is either unresponsive or has a mind of its own and flicking rapidly through all options.
This happens with all xbox features and apps. We can use the other buttons to navigate through the xbox dashboard options but on entering an app all are overridden by the left stick glitch. All controller affected suggests a console issue, yes? Please help,
our xbox is unusable as is.

We bought the xbox new from amazon in June or July.

Controller stick squeaks in multiple controllers

I bought an xbox 360 wired controller for pc. After few minutes the left stick started squeaking. I complained. I got a new controller. The new controllers left stick started squeaking after few minutes. My husband has a controller that doesn't have squeaking
sticks. Instead the LT and RT squeak. Is the quality of your controllers always this bad?

My wired controllers analog sticks sensitivity is super low for no reason

The sensitivity on my wired controllers sticks for my xbox one are super low and pressing down on the left stick doesnt do anything, and its weird because on my wireless one, they work perfectly fine. If anyone can help, that would be greatly appreciated.

Just to add - I've been to the xbox online service centre as we're still under warranty and the only option available is to create a service order as the troubleshoot option leads to dead end webpage is not available -

solutions.xbox.com/.../startwizard.aspx

So I spent a while on here looking for alternatives to no avail - do we really have to send it in for a service? If it's a software issue can't it be fixed via an update or something like?

Got a nice chap called 'Roi' at the Xbox service centre on chat who talked me through some trouble shooting steps, and eventually a full factory reset, which resolved the issue for the wired controllers but not for the wireless ones :/ The wired ones are
still a little erratic with the left stick still moving too fast sometimes in the left/right directions - but functioning at least. If it happens again then I'll be sending it in for repairs quick sharp, in fact, I will definitely be doing this before the
warranty runs out in March. We really need the wireless controllers and this speedy movement with the stick will soon drive my mad! Even so, thanks 'Roi' for the pleasant service/advice b

Exactly. That controller is wireless. Its fine for a lot of games, but is essentially useless for Madden, which is what I play 95% of the time. The left stick is not responsive enough on that or any of the three wireless controllers I have tried. All of
which were $65 or more. And they all have the same problem.

I know it's the controller and not Madden because that problem goes away with ANY wired controller I use.

Thanks for the recommendation.
They have it right with the symmetrical thumb stick placement. It is "unnatural" to have your left thumb pulled in against your hand in order to reach the left thumb stick.
The issue I will have with this controller is the wire, 3 meters is not long enough for the room size and will present a tripping hazard.
When they bring out a wireless controller, I'm in.

Is your Controller. wired or wireless? If you've plugged your wireless Controller in using a play and charge, im affraid you're out of luck. The 360 wireless Controller remains wireless It can't be made Into a wired controller.

All windows versions after Windows XP have the Xbox 360 controller drivers pre-installed, there is no driver to install.
