    Xbox 360 will not stay connected to Live


    I can connect to Live but once I try to do anything related to Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, or Netflix it instantly disconnects me from Live. I then have issues reconnecting, but once reconnected I have the same issue. I have had this issue for two
    days and have spent countless hours troubleshooting, downloading my profile, clearing my cache, reseting my router, talking to Comcast, etc. all with no solution. I have literally tried everything and am ready to use the thing as target practice.

    I've talked to multiple xbox support specialists about the issue. My 360 cannot stay connected to xbox live more than 5 minutes. I've deleted the system cache, re downloaded my profile, and power cycled the console a bunch of times. Tried wired and wireless
    connections. Nothing works. Is there any fix for this problem? I'm fairly confident they just do this so you'll buy a newer version of the 360. So, before I go buy another one, does anyone have any solutions?

    I'm having the same issue. I've had Xbox Live Gold for seven years now. Three of those years on my current console. Never had a problem until two weeks ago. Now it constantly disconnects. i can't do anything on it now, besides playing single player games.
    I can't figure out if it's Xbox Live, my console, or my ISP. Just curious, who is your ISP?

    Thanks for the support message.

    Are you on a wired or wireless connection? Approximately how far is your console in Feet from your Router if wireless? Could you also run a speedtest by going to
    http://speedtest.net/ and post back a screen shot of the results?

    Could you also try following this troubleshooting wizard below to see if that helps?

    my router brand is netgear model #FS605

    UNPNP unknown

    don't know about any nat codes errors, and error codes just says that I cannot connect.

    My isp provider is windstream.

    It was running just fine for 3 weeks and the last 2 weeks it has been cutting out every 10 minutes. I tried all the previous replies to troubleshoot, and still getting kicked off :(
