Xbox 360 will not read disc after system update

Discus and support Xbox 360 will not read disc after system update in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Have not used my Xbox 360 for a while ....     Xbox 360 will not read disc after system update


    Have not used my Xbox 360 for a while .... Switched on system started update and then finished update rebooted

    Now my system will no read my games disc....? or Dvd's

    will read cd's but the drive will not recognise any games

    I any help would be nice

    • Can't download the update. To test your connection, open System Settings and select Network Settings, Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
    • Can't install the update. The disc is unreadable.
    • Can't read the update from the disc. Please reinsert the disc to continue the update.
    If you get an error code such as xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-C000-0001 (six groups of four-digits), please see Error code after Xbox 360 update.

    Xbox one not reading g 360 disc

    Yes they are compatible it black ops and black ops 2 both brand new disc and work in a 360 just fine my xbox one reads and plays all xbox one disc and blu Ray's and 4k movies but will not read or play dvd movies or 360 backward compatible games I've done
    system updates online and offline updates I've soft reset and hard reset and I've factory reset also and have no luck dont understand why it can read all disc except dvd and 360

    I recommend trying to install it from a usb or a disc. I had a problem similar to yours a while ago and this is what I did and it solved my problem. Read here:

    support.xbox.com/.../system-updates-info

    This will show you how to install from a disc and usb. I hope this helps :)
