Xbox 360 will not allow sign in

The Xbox 360 shows no error message. Only the message stating "Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to https://account.live.com to fix the problem" I have visited the url to find that it leads to a page where i can change things about my account such as password which i have done. However changing the password has fixed nothing and results in the same error message.

I have not tried any troubleshooting outside of changing my password and confirming that it works elsewhere such as my xbox series s console.

Does Xbox 360 shows you any error message? Or any message at all? Or you just don't sign in and Xbox 360 get back to the sign in screen again?

Did you do any troubleshooting yet?

Please just answer this two questions so I can better assist you with your issue.

Would you please try to do a Power Reset to see if it helps?

- Turn your Xbox 360 off and remove all the cables from it.
- Wait 3 minutes.
- Plug them in again and turn it on.

This will clean your Xbox 360 cache so we can see if it's a cache issue. If the problem persists, please let me know and we will further troubleshooting.

Do you have access to a 360? It's a long shot but it's possible that signing in on a 360 would revalidate your account allowing you to sign in on your Xbox one. Not for sure on that one, but it's worth a try.

i've tried signing in with the 2nd controller once i'm in the 360 emulator but it will only allow me to sign in as a guest Xbox live account. If i try signing under my Xbox live account, it signs out of xbox live completely.
