Xbox 360 (White) Not Functioning

My Xbox 360 (White) has encountered some kind of problem. During a network outage, I unplugged and replugged the external network adapter only to have the Xbox shut itself off suddenly. Now, it neither connects to the controllers nor the TV. What this
means is

1. The power turns on fine (no red rings).

2. However, the TV indicates no signal received, as if it's unplugged. It's not a problem with the HDMI cable, as the cable works fine with my PC to the same TV.

3. The controllers also no longer connect to the Xbox.

Did I cause some kind of hardware breakdown when I unplugged and replugged the adapter? Does this require manual servicing or is it a system thing?

Question about Xbox 360 trade in at Microsoft Store

I traded in the white arcade 360 in store and still got $100. That's the base base base model with like 500mb memory. Basically a Xbox 360 skelton. so I can assure you, they will take ANY 360 as long as it's functional and you have a working controller and the ac adapter and cables that came with it!!

I am having the same issue. It work with my new Xbox 360 S but not my older (white) Xbox 360. I unpluggest my 360 S and it is still not working with the white one.

I tried troubleshooting as you mentioned. Here are the steps and how the Xbox reacted.

Solution 1: Restart your console

- Didn't work. The problem as mentioned in the original post persisted.

Solution 2: Check your cable

- The HDMI cable functions fine with my computer and the TV, so it's not the cable.

Solution 3: Reset your console display settings

- First off, the controller can't connect to the Xbox. The Guide button displays alternating opposite green lights as if attempting to connect, but does not connect to the console. Second, the right trigger/Y button didn't cause any response from the console
either.

Solution 4: Check your TV setup

- The TV functions perfectly with all other devices (PC, Cable TV, etc)

Solution 5: Try a lower screen resolution

- Didn't work. Problem persisted.

Solution 6: Try a different TV

- Didn't work. Problem persisted.

just for the controllers not connecting part, can you power the console down, when it is fully turned off please disconnect the power supply from the wall socket and console and leave it disconnected for 1 minute.
