    Xbox 360 w/ Adapter not connecting to internet, keeps flashing instead


    A few nights ago, my xbox 360 disconnected from the internet. The adapter has been working fine now for over 2+ years, and it just disconnected. I tried resetting network settings to factory defaults, however that didn't fix the issue.

    After I put in my password and the gray checkmark pops up beside my network on the available networks screen, I try to test my xbox live connection. Now, instead of working as normal, connecting xbox 360 to network, then Internet, then Live, it doesn't even
    connect to the network.

    The bubbles just load and load and load, and my adapter just sits there and blinks. This has gone on for upwards of an hour before I give up and turn my xbox off and forget about it. It's been 3 days now and I've done everything from check the support page,
    to online discussions, to tech help. Nothing seems to work. I even cleared my cache, reset network settings, and tried to move the Internet adapter to another USB port. It just keeps blinking and doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

    I have tried to connect my X Box 360 to the internet using both the Wired Ethernet cable and and Wireless adapter. The Wireless adapter works on my brothers Xbox 360 in the other room but my X Box 360 just keeps telling me that I need to connect an

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with your Xbox 360 not functionally properly with connecting to the internet and loading game data. Have you attempted to use any other USB ports on your console? Also, you may want to try

    I'm not really familiar with the H2O Bolt device, but I believe it uses a USB adapter that you can plug into a PC. If that's the case and you have a PC in your home, you can use Internet Connection Sharing to share the network connection on the PC with your

    Now it looks like H2O provides a wireless hotspot called the 'Spider'. If you have an XBox 360 w/ official wireless adapter, XBox 360 S, or XBox 360 E, then you should be able to connect to the wireless hotspot directly.

    Hello gamer,

    If you have black adapter with two antennae (wireless N adapter) flashing green light this means the adapter is trying continuously to connect to a wireless network.

    In case of flashing red light the adapter might be damaged and you should order a new adapter from the Xbox Online Service Center
