Xbox 360 w/2 or more internal HDD'S?

I went Gold again, not so much for playing online but for GwG. Trouble is I only have a 250 GB HDD which is about full and I don't want to delete nothing.

So my question is. Can I use 2 or more internal HDD's on my Xbox 360 all under the same tag?

If so how exactly do I do it? Be specific please.

If the above ^ is possible, I plan on buying one HDD next month, and another in the coming months as funds permit.

ERROR IO: 0x00000571IO

Need help...already tried XBOX 360 tech support. Cannot download the new WoT update w/o getting the IO: 0x00000571 error.

1. Called Xbox360 tech support; 2. installed a new 1TB external USB HDD, but get the same error. Is this a known problem, or do you have another thing I might try? I have an XBOX 360 Elite w/120GB internal drive, but just installed an EXTERNAL USB 1TB HDD.

You can use more than one, you would just have to swap it out to use the one with the game you want on it. The only issue is, it's not really recommended to do that because it could be possible to damage the hard drive in the process.

 

You can still start the download even with very little space on your drive, and then cancel it straight away.

Its then added to your download history when you find some space.

 

OK so you can use 2 or more HD's but how do I keep on my main drive, and also add it, XBL Gold etc to a 2nd drive?

Not very savvy at these things so be as specific as possible please.

 

You could probably buy a 500GB HDD for the xbox 360 and just move the files to the new HDD by using a flash drive. Of course, that would defeat the purpose because you'd probably have to swap the HDD often. I don't know if they make the tool to swap files
between Xbox 360 slim consoles.

If you have two 360 consoles, it could easily be done I imagine.

Also, you could probably get a 64GB flash drive (one that can work on the 360) and try that. Or is it 32GB max? I don't remember.

 

You can't copy your profile to multiple hard drives. If needed, you would have to redownload your account each time you swap the drive. Your gold information is on the Xbox servers so that would be there when you download your account. Add or Remove Xbox Profile on an Xbox 360 Console

Then the 360 needs external HDD support because 250, 320 and yes, even 500 GB is nowhere near sufficient for all the GwG, Apps, DLC, Disc install (Which saves wear and tear on the Optical Drive) Updates, etc, etc, etc.

Somehow there just has to be a solution.

 

You could put your profile on a USB stick.

 

A slim hard drive transfer cable is also available.
