Xbox 360 Video Problem.Outputs sound but no display

So this is what happened.Couple of months ago my component or av cable broke.SO I started to use my XBOX 360 E on HDTV using HDMI Cable.Because of my exams I wasn't able to get another one as I was busy. Now my exams are over and I have bought a new av cable. Now
the problem stands that my non-hd doesnt display the video.I can only hear the sound. No gui problem as HDMI works on the HD tv.

    :)

I am having problems with xbox 360 S HDCP Link not found?

When playing back DVD Video or videos from Xbox Video, the Xbox 360 wants to encrypt the picture and sound with HDCP. If it cannot properly detect that the display can handle HDCP, or if the display is an older model which does not support it, then the Xbox
360 will show this message. I'm surprised it doesn't happen with Netflix.

A possibility is that there is damage to the HDMI cable or connectors interrupting the Xbox 360 from communicating properly with the display, leaving them unable to share keys for HDCP encryption (this is done continuously while HDCP remains active).

Make sure that you turn on the display first and let it fully "wake up" before starting up the Xbox 360.

Also, if you're using the original yellow/red/white AV cable for sound rather than an audio dongle, check if leaving the AV cable unplugged and only having HDMI plugged in will resolve the issue. If it does, then you might want to route the sound out of
your display to the sound bar rather than directly from the Xbox 360.

What brand/model display is the Xbox 360 connected to? Also, has it worked before on that display?

That awfully sounds as if the D/A video converter broke on your console.

The HDMI port can grab the video data digitally directly from the graphics hardware, however the AV cable has to have the video data first converted to an analogue signal.

Since you get sound, I assume the DAC of the console is faulty.

You can try the following: Turn the console off, and hold both the "Y" and "RT" buttons on the controller, and then press the silver Xbox Button on the same controller.

Hold the Y and RT buttons until you (hopefully) see the dashboard.

If it doesn't show up, you will have to
send your console in for repairs

    There are external
HDMI to component or composite converters
    .

However, all of these don't have HDCP protection support, so you can't watch high-definition video that requires a full HDCP chain (e.g. apps like Netflix, Amazon Video or movie DVDs might not work).
