Has anyone used a micro SD card with usb adapter on their console?

I have an original Phat Xbox 360 with a wireless adapter using the back USB port.

I'm thinking this could be used for archiving of installed xbox 360 games. like what's seen on the Nintendo DS.

Thoughts?

This disk is unreadable etc

2 options- Using an "Official" Xbox transfer Cable. Or A USB.

USB Flash Drive problem with DLC

Hello gamer,

Not all brands or types of USB drives can be used with Xbox 360 that is why a Microsoft HDD is a better choice. To determine whether or not your USB drive will work with your Xbox 360 system, turn on the system and connect the USB drive to one of the system's
USB ports. Scroll to the "My Xbox" section of the Xbox 360's menu and select the "System Settings" option. Select the "Memory" option, followed by the "USB Storage Device" option. Select the "Configure Now" option. The Xbox 360 will now check to see whether
or not the drive can be used with the system. If the tests come back positive, the Xbox 360 will configure the drive and the device will be ready to be used with the system.

FYI, I installed a USB 3.0 Micro SD adapter with a 128GB SD card, performance has been excellent.

I can confirm that this is a viable solution for those wanting to expand their storage, as well as using "Spare" USB ports, should you not be using them for charging your Controllers.

I have expanded my storage by 144GB.

I don't really see how this is different from using an external hd. I've got a 2T, the max 360 supports, hooked up on mine.

Need to format usb first so the xbox will recognize it later then put on the usb the files then put it back into the xbox. See if that works

I'm having the same issue! I bought an external 1TB drive to move my games to and have more storage since the latest update supports up to 2TB external storage. It formats but won't configure. Any suggestions?
