Xbox 360 Update Problem. (PLEASE HELP!)

Recently I have been having problems downloading an update for XBL, it tells me to dowload, I accept, it fails downloading at the last second when "applying the update" and gives me an status code 42FC-42FE-267F-C000-0185. I looked it up, I've done all the
trouble shoot options, except for the force dowload by USB or burn disc. All I need is help because basically my xbox is a useless black brick. I also have the Xbox 360 E model n which comes with the 4GB internal flash memory thingy. And now it doesn't have
it, when I check my storage devices it shows up as "unformatted". I also own a 300GB External HDD, which is apparently not capable of taking this update with 102GB of storage left. I'm soon going to grow tired, go complain to games top and get me new one,
but at least tell me what happened and how I can prevent it from happening againn and to help others who may have this problem.

Sorry to hear about the issue. If the 4GB internal flash storage shows up unformatted, you will need to send the console in for repair. As far as preventing this specific issue from happening, there isn't much to do unfortunately. Think of it as a hard drive
in your PC failing, sadly it just happens. I recommend setting up a repair with our chat or phone support agents through our

try downloading the zip file update patch, but keep your console offline. 150 is up btw.
