    Xbox 360 update errors


    I'm trying to set up an XBox 360 and am having trouble with the Xbox live connection. When I manage to get connected, I am prompted to download a system update. It runs through the status bar that shows it downloading and then fails with an error code 416B
    - 4174 - 1790 - 2446 - C810 - 1004, message says it can't process the update. Xbox support suggests downloading the update on a USB stick and loading from that, but I have not been able to find anyplace to download it from.

    Also, I got an external USB HD with 100 games on it, can't figure out how to access them.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Step 5: "If you receive a connection error, try using the Xbox Live Connect Solution.

    Console update did not install successfully?"

    Xbox Live Update/Networking Issue

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In order for the update to start installing, you would need to be connected to a network. This sounds like your Xbox 360 is having issues connecting to your network, so it is asking you to check your network
    connection for any possible errors/messages.
