Xbox 360 update about Gamepass

I understand this frustration on Xbox 360 system, actually my little brother also has a 360 and is not able to use completely his game pass ultimate subscription on it.

I highly doubt that Microsoft releases Ultimate benefits on Xbox 360 consoles (besides from live gold), due to the latest system update was released on 2019

Is something related to an error when you try downloading your profile?

Yes it is, when i installed my 360 and made all the updates, i downloaded my profile

Everything was fine until i start up my Xbox One and logged to the same account, I had an error (can't remember what code it is, but i fixed it)

I did some research on internet, some said try to update your avatar, i tried but it did nothing

I deleted it and tried to download my profile back, still the same error

Someone said try to cancel your monthly subscription to Xbox gamepass Ultimate, i did it and everything worked

It's a easy fix to do but i don't want to cancel my subscription every month

Usually to sign in properly on your Xbox 360 console you just need to create an app password.

Sign with your account here:
https://account.microsoft.com/security

Then press advance security options and scroll down to the bottom
There should appear an "app passwords" settings

If not, you may need to enable 2 step verification on your account.

After that and when you configure Microsoft Authenticator app

You can go again to https://account.microsoft.com/security > advanced security options and "app password" option now should appear, generate one and that's the one you need to put on the console.

Sometimes can take a while to appear the "app password", check this often if it's your case

No you can't play recent games on a xbox 360

It's no lo get supported by any game developer

You will have to.find an old copy

If you are thinking gamepass cloud well no as it browser is out of date and will never be updated

If you want to play recent games you need a recent console not something over 15 years old

And gamepass idoesnt work on 360

There is no more support for xbox 360

Gamepass Ultimate is only avaiable on XBOX ONE and PC. On XBox 360 there is no use of the Gamepass at the moment
