Xbox 360 up/down load speed

why are my up and download speeds 1/3rd of what my actual Internet speeds are? I'm on a T1 line and only have 6 Mbps up yet 12 Mbps down....my internet connection is over 30 down and my COD lags like crazy! Any hints or help to improve the gaming quality
or do I switch to PS4?

Internet speed and Xbox

I'm assuming the Xbox 360 can handle up to 100Mbps Down and Up speed, am I correct? Here is my speed Ping 26ms 76.13Mbps Down 11.13Mbps Upload to a server 400 miles away.

When I test my speed through my xbox I got 1.7Mbps Down! YES 1.7Mbps. So what speed can the Xbox handle

Xbox one speeds

What ate ideal upload and down load speeds for xbox one? I am getting speeds at ...download at 2.85 mbps and upload at 0.72 mbps. Some games take to long to load that it stops loading .. Please help!!!!

I would assume that the issue is coming from the internet itself. You can always try resetting your internet connection for 30 seconds, then reconnecting it. If this doesn't work, I would recommend looking for a new Internet Service Provider.

Just recently learned that the 360, even when wire connected to 5G routers with 2.4G inputs will get extremely poor dowload numbers. It's not you ISP but rather the 360's internals thats to blame. Even on the E model, the internals weren't robust enough
to handle more modern modems wider bandwith singles. Yet when you revert back to the older modems, you'll get 3X faster download speeds on the 360.

I'm running on my wired university connection, and I keep getting random signouts and pages loading at dial-up speeds too.

My speed's at 57 Mbps down and 31 up, obviously not Wal-Mart internet.

Current equipment:

Desktop(wired) - working fine, 30mbps down and 5 mbps up

HP Touchpad (wireless) - working fine, 11mbps to 25mbps down and 3.5 to 5mbps up

Xbox 360(wired) - slow connection, speed 2.4 to 4.1 mbps down and 2.1 to 4.4 mbps up
