Xbox 360 unable to sign up for live

Been trying for 3 days now. lets me input all information then at the very end says "currently unavailable please try again" there is no error code. Have contacted Microsoft today and we have checked internet connection, deleted cache 3 times, set up extra
emails etc. he then said it would be a problem with my internet provider and to contact them. They have checked all my settings, we are not on strict and the problem is with Microsoft. Anybody help me please. I'm not sure where to go next.

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

Unable to sign up for Xbox Live on Xbox 360

I know others have had this issue but I can't find a solution. My son has an Xbox 360 bought second-hand from Computer Exchange (CEX) and it works brilliantly, except we can't seem to sign up for Xbox Live and have been trying for the past 3 months. We
get through all of the sign-up information, entering my credit card and address details and get to the final page and we get 'Xbox sign up unavailable - try again later'. Has anyone found a solution to this?

I have tested the connection to Xbox Live and it is all good.

Would you provide a little more information on your router model number and brand?

The issue could be your router is blocking requests and packets from the server and your XBOX. To fix this you can enable DMZ on the router.

Are you able to setup an account online through the website
HERE? If you create the account online you'd just need to sign into it on the console using the email address and password.

Just using the Xbox 360 and am unable to connect to Xbox Live. According to Down Detector for Xbox Live, there seems to be plenty of other similar reports. There's even an alert on the Xbox.com service status page about signing into Xbox Live https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status
That page also includes signing into Xbox Live on an Xbox One, but sometimes the issues don't seem to effect everyone the same way.

Sorry to hear this, if you are unable to sign in to Xbox Live on a 360 there is trouble shooting procedures you can follow to try and resolve the issue, or atleast narrow down what could be causing the issue.

I think if I sign into a games for windows live game while my bro is on 360 then I just show up as being signed in like normal, so I'd say it'll be the same on the One. The notification is that you've signed into Xbox Live, not Xbox 360
