Xbox 360 unable to send messages

I am unable to send messages on my xbox 360 console. Including voice messages. Im not banned as far as i'm aware of, i haven't receieved an email stating so.

I was unable to send messages via the console after downloading and using the xbox app for iphone. The error message i get us to visit xbox support, but nothing there is helpful. Anyone got any ideas?

Message failed to send.

On Xbox one when I try to send a message it says message failed to send then on message section of Xbox it say we are unable to get your recent messages please try again later.In Xbox app it says that it was unable to connect to the server and on the internet
it doesn’t work either.It works on Xbox 360 though. Please can someone help thanks.

Son just got an XBOX one for holidays and I have a few questions. Can't text and can't chat?

Ok, so my son received an XBOX one for the holidays and I have two questions?

1) He attempted to MESSAGE his friends and the messages wouldn't send. UNABLE TO SEND flashed.

2) Is a headset required to "CHAT" with his friends.

He used to chat and message with his friends on his XBOX 360, but unable to now. FWIW, he has Xbox gold on 360, does that transfer over to the XBOX one when I signed him in? Thanks!

1st you should check if your band on xbox.com . If that doesn't work you should restart your Xbox. Finally if that doesn't work just call Microsoft.

Ever since the Xbox One servers have gone up I've had trouble with messages and other service problems on my Xbox 360. Yeah the One is great, but Microsoft, don't forget about the 360, in which I don't spend $60+ a year on service that requires me to try
10+ tries to send a message. This is absolutely ridiculous.

So sorry didn't get back to you soon, and the account still hasn't been fixed 3 weeks later. I can send messages in any other imaginative way. Smartglass, xbox.com, 360, 360 backwards compatibility... just not through the Xbox One side guide. I have pretty
much stopped playing for the last little bit if the fix ever happens. I am annoyed about this and they wont escalate me.
