Xbox 360 unable to recognize right analog stick

Hello,

I was playing Fallout 3 on a xbox360 s 250gb console and my right analog stick stopped working. Initially I thought it was the controller, so I tried another and another and another... same problem. I have also restarted the console tried plugging the controllers
in directly, still no luck. I've been looking around on google for a fix but all that really comes up is how to fix the controller which I don't believe to be the problem. Help me?

Is the diameter of Xbox One analog sticks the same as the Xbox 360 analog sticks?

It's not the controller. Even in fallout 3 while the stick is frozen once you open pipboy menus map screen you can navigate the screen cursor with the right. Try reloading an older save r entering a DLC are. I traveled to Point Lookout and right stick became
responsive again. It's 100% a game bug.

Just curious, you playing a Games on demand version?

That's what I h8t the analog sticks if I could have the 360 analog sticks on the Xbox one pad I be well happy

Another nearby toggle lets you set the joystick to act as a D-pad, left analog stick, or right analog stick, which can come in quite handy depending on the game you're playing.

The toggle you mentioned is not working. That is the problem I am facing at the moment. The Xbox only recognizes the joystick as D-Pad, whatever the toggle is set to (DP, LS, RS).
