Xbox 360 Tray Not Opening

    Xbox 360 Tray Not Opening


    My Xbox 360 from about 2006 is having problems opening for the tray to play games i might've fixed it for not reading games but i can't test it out without getting the tray to open.

    Disc tray.

    The xbox one (s) doesn't have a disc tray and it was never meant to be opened.

    If you are referring to the 360 then that does have a tray that can open then it makes sense.

    This is probably due to the magnet coming out of place or something of the sorts.

    Unfortunatly, the only advice I could give to you is to save for a repair :/ I wish I could give more advice. Hopefully someone else can come along and help.

    If it's the original design console, I believe you take the faceplate off and then use a paperclip to manually eject the tray. You can search online for videos on it as well as fixes.

    Also sometimes when there is no games in the disc tray and it closes it takes multiple clicks to reopen it.
