Xbox 360 to Xbox one (Live)

We have just purchase our son a Xbox one for his birthday and in his haste he has set it up without me. He has created a new email as it did not recognise the email he used for the 360. I need to know how we can now transfer the remaining 11 months Xbox
Live he had on his 360 onto the Xbox one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

360 and One on same gold account

If I sign in to Xbox Live on my Xbox One, will I also be able to sign in on the same account on my 360 at the same time? Say someone is using the Xbox One in the living room and I'm playing my 360 in my bedroom. Will I be able to use the same account?

Xbox One Live 12 Months ??

Question

Can i order a standard Xbox 360 Live 12-moth Gold code online, to use on Xbox One Live?
They are all the same i assume, i don't need a special Xbox One version do i...

i don't want any fancy Killer Instinct xbone promo live version as mentioned above.

I don't think you can transfer gold from one account to another.

Your best bet would be too just delete the account he hastily created and sign into the Xbox One using his old account. That way he keeps his gold account and all the achievements, its easy to do, all you need is the email address you used for his old account
and the password.

The Xbox 360 cannot actually connect to Xbox Live as per the list of countries that the Xbox Live service is available in. While Xbox Live is available in China, its only for PC/Xbox One and the Xbox 360's Xbox Live is no longer available or never was in
the first place as denoted by the asterisk next to China on the list.

Hi there,

I'm afraid that it sounds like you currently have two accounts, one offline on the xbox 360 and one Xbox Live account on the Xbox One.

There is an option to promote your offline xbox 360 account to an Xbox Live Account, but this will require a new Microsoft Account (email address), but the next issue would be that it is Not possible to merge multiple accounts into one Xbox Live Account.

So basically there are two options, continue with the current Xbox Live Account that you have on the Xbox One, or to promote the 360 account to an Xbox Live Account and download that to the Xbox One and continue with that one.

Uruguay is not part of xbox live regions so you can't purchase from xbox store
