    Xbox 360 to Xbox One game transfer


    Hi, I recently recieved an Xbox One S and am currently working on transferring my games and save data for Xbox 360 to the One S. I was confused when I went into the games store and saw that it was promting me to purchase a game that I had already bought
    digitaly on my 360, so I thought, “no big deal, i’ll just boot up the 360, stick all my games and save data on a flash drive, and plug it into my Xbox one,” but wouldn’t you know it, that didnt work either. So I began researching how to transfer the data from
    360 to One and found out I had to use the cloud storage drive on the 360 which needs an xbox live gold subscription to work. I thought this had to work, and I had a gold subsciption because a free 14 day one came with the new xbox, but for some reason, presumably
    because the subscription was redeemed on the xbox one, the 360 didnt register that I actually had xbox live gold, and now im left in this situation.

    If any one knows a way to fix this, it would be very much appreciated, thanks!

    Are you transferring the Xbox 360 saved versions of the game? Because if it's the Xbox one version it won't transfer over to the 360 side.

    You can't transfer it from the memory stick.

    Also, you will need to have the "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" game, not the "Minecraft" (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the name).

    To transfer your world to the Minecraft Xbox One Edition, start your Xbox 360 Minecraft, and make sure you have the latest version of it installed by having the Xbox 360 connected online to Xbox Live.

    The latest Xbox 360 version has a feature to transfer one world at a time to a transfer slot. Upload your world to that transfer slot, and then move to the Xbox One.

    Start Minecraft Xbox One Edition. There you will have the option to import a transferred Xbox 360 game from the transfer slot.

    Once the world is imported, you can repeat these steps for other worlds you have on the Xbox 360.

    After you transferred all your worlds to the Xbox One Edition, you can start the "Bedrock Engine" Minecraft on the Xbox One, and again transfer your worlds from the Xbox One Edition.

    If you don't have the Xbox One Edition, but only the Minecraft for Xbox One, please
    contact the official support.

    XBox One isn't backwards compatible with XBox 360 games, hence you won't be able to transfer 360 saves to the One.
