Xbox 360 to Xbox One Disc Problems

Whenever I play Black Ops 1 on the Xbox One, it works beautifully. Then, when I eject the Black Ops disc and insert an Xbox One disc, whether It is Rainbow Six Seige or Black Ops 3, it says that it is unreadable. The only way that I have found to fix this
problem is through a total reset (unplugging from the wall and replugging). I just wanted to know if anyone else has this problem and has found any other way to fix it other than a 3 minute process that could have taken 3 seconds. Other than that, backwards
compatibility works really well for me!

hi, whenever i put in a xbox 360 disc in my xbox one it doesn't seem to work, my xbox one disc work without any problems.

Hey there, Teegster2551! Sorry to see any issues. It sounds like your disc drive might be failing. Does this only happen from Xbox 360 to Xbox One discs, or do you notice it between Xbox One discs, too? Have you tried out all the steps listed in our
Xbox One Disc Troubleshooting page? That should help you out. Let us know if it helps you out or not! We'd like to look into helping you out further if it doesn't.

 

I've noticed that it is just immediately after playing an Xbox 360 disc. Once I put in an Xbox One disc it sounds like the disc is being read but it just stops trying (if you understand). Xbox one discs themselves work just fine but not after 360 discs.
I just checked out the disc troubleshooting and I will try out those fixes. I'll keep posted

 

Sounds to me like it's an software issue as it somehow reads the disc but is searching for the Xbox 360 disc code, instead of recognizing the Xbox One game disc.

Unfortunately I myself until this day did not encounter this,.....yet!

Are you in the Xbox One preview member list?

Can you please try these steps below for me.

Go to Settings > All Settings > Disc & Blu-ray > Blu-ray > Persistent Storage > Clear > Restart.

Make sure the disc is not inside the console while doing the steps.

Try the Xbox 360 disc then try the Xbox One disc. Let's see if there will be differences.

I came across same like issues , will check these steps I happend to me after playing Rare Replay.

But will, check these steps and come back with feedback this week.
