    Xbox 360 to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility achievement bug ?!


    I recently downloaded Borderlands 2 for free because of Games for Gold with my Xbox Live Gold membership on my Xbox One. And as i downloaded it, it told me that it works on the Xbox One because of the backwards compatibility thing. I played the game for
    a while and got tired so i stopped. I went to my profile and then to my achievements because I unlocked one whilst I was playing and I wanted to go see what it was, and ALL of my Xbox One game achievements are ALL GONE, like if you were on my achievements
    page, all of my games would say like "Grand Theft Auto V .. 0%" when i had like 26% of achievements before. If you clicked on the game however it would come up with all the achievements and etc, why is it not on my achievements page when people go to view
    my profile. I had a little panic attack because somehow a Xbox 360 took away my Xbox One achievements??

    Anyone know how to get these back? I tried to restart my console and they are still gone, thanks.

    Do Xbox 360 achievements come through on the Xbox One with backwards compatibility?

    Hi Neizo,

    All the achievements are stored on the 360 servers. So if the save data was lost the achievements will still be done. Same with backward compatible games. Personally played a lot of games on 360 now they are available on the Xbox one as backward compatible
    and the achievements are done from when I played before. You can always check achievements on trueachievements.com

    Achievements not unlocking for months on multiple games!!!!!!!!

    I have the exact same issue. I can't unlock any achievements on Xbox One games. However I can unlock achievements on Xbox 360 backwards compatible games.

    If it's backwards compatible it would only be available on the Xbox One as a backwards compatible game. Not on the 360
    There are backwards compatible games available for the 360. Black is one of them.

    If the Xbox one game is in the library of Play Anywhere titles you can earn achievements on the PC, just digital copies.

    360 games can only get achievements on either a 360 or a one, if it is part of the backward compatible library.
