Pros and cons of having a game on disc vs. having a digital copy

Calling All Aussies, Just bought Destiny for $67 at target, thats $32 discount. Also, if the XB1 is doing so bad then why was there no copies of Destiny left for it? Yep, bought the opposition version, sorry. It's 360 and then against my will, digital for
xb1.

You guys are all surprisingly doped up by microsoft's Koolaid... why are we XB1 owners so freaking complacent and compliant??! It's really freaking depressing what they're giving us after promising two full games a month... I'm still buying games on my
PS3 because my XB1 just doesn't have anything good available and even the discounts they're giving us are really very poor!! Outlast was a free game on the PS4, why in the hell aren't we getting decent stuff for the XB1, Guacamelee isn't a bad game perse
but it is a discount/arcade game... The 360 discounts are very good, offer us something similar - Up to 75% discount you promised us, I don't even turn my 360 on these days so stop offering me redundant stuff...

 

The Minecraft discounted price offer is still valid (I believe the discount is permanent for owners of the Xbox 360 edition of the game).

As for the discounted price for Australian buyers: the price should be about 25% of the original price (75% discount).

 

Thanks. I'm looking at getting it for my son on 360 and for me on XB1. Was thinking if I login and play on the 360 as me first, then buy digitally on XB1, then hand over to my son on 360. If I do it that way I end up with both versions for about the same
price as XB1 due to the 360 version being cheaper for the physical copy.

 

Well it worked. I purchased the 360 digital version for $19.95 then got the XB1 digital version for $6.65. Normal digital price is $26.95.

Even better if you buy skin and texture packs on the 360 you get them for free on XB1. They are also cheaper on 360.

I reckon this will be my go to game when one of my disc based games is updating or installing.
