Xbox 360 thinks it's on the side

I have an Xbox 360S, and it shows the ring light 2 instead of ring light 1 when a controller is connected. The only way to fix it is to tip it over a little, then it shows correctly, but the second I put it back — same story with the light 2.

How can I fix this?

Then why it shows wrong too if I put it horizontally? Instead of the light 1 it shows the light 3, kinda like the horizontal and vertical modes were swapped

The console will always show first the top left corner light, depending on the position of the console it will change, the console was designed to be in horizontal position, so thats why you will see the controller light 1 on the wrong side if you have it vertical

Then you should not worry, to fix it you probably have to take it to a repair center, this consoles don't have support from Microsoft anymore for repairs and you will risk the console only
