XBox 360: System Video Player shows unshared folders on my PC

The sorting of videos is much nicer on the Xbox 360.

On my console the system video player shows only the folder (and subfolders contained therein).

I go to System Video Player, Videos.

My friend has a somewhat different experience on his One. He goes to Media Player, Selects his PC and gets four options (Music, Playlists, Pictures, and videos). Not too bad since this is an all in one player and must show the other options.

However on picking videos he now has eight options. I wont list them all this time. He picks Folders and now he is allowed to pick the folder where his videos are kept.

I can understand having all these options available but it just takes that bit more time for him to get to where he wants to go instead of quick and simple on the 360.

Hi, If you have a PC with Windows 10 you can for exemplo put your videos in Video folder, Pictures in Picture folder and Music in Music folder, and then in Your Xbox you go in Folder App and access your files in pc by there, or on Player, in Open then you
chose network, then your files show to you.

Remember in your PC active the Share option on your Network setup

Yes all music is in default music folder and sharing is enabled..my Zune music shows up with the Xbox logo next to the PC in the list of pcs in the system music player. My Xbox shows without the Xbox music logo but it takes a long time to show the music
and it won't play

Hello.

After the last Xbox 360 update, the 8Gb USB Memory that was connected to it, suddenly stopped working.

Xbox 360 will not detect it anymore. I then connected it to my PC and it worked slowly,(took over 2 hrs to download content to PC) and after choosing "Show Hidden Files" in the "Folder Options", I was able to see that there is approx 8Gb of data on the USB
Memory in a Folder named: Xbox 360, and in that Folder, there are 10 files named: Data0000, to Data0009, all with a Date modified of: 9/5/2014.

I then Formatted another USB Memory (64Gb) with the Xbox 360, then I transferred that Xbox 360 Folder from PC to the 64Gb USB Memory, however, when connected to the Xbox 360 and checking in the System Settings/Storage/USB Device, it shows the approx 8Gb
of data on it, but all the files (Games and Apps/Profiles/Demos/Videos/Themes/Gamer Pictures/Avatar Items/System Items) all show 0KB.

All the data is from Forza Motorsport games.

I'm going insane trying to figure out what to do.

to live. Then I have a folder showing a profile backup I still had left on my external hard drive I was using for my active Xbox 360 system. As soon as I connect online They just vanish. I haven't attempted going online with my Xbox 360 S system that has the
59k Gamerscore. My Xbox One also shows the same thing as my Xbox 360 shows when online which is just the achievements I have gotten on my Xbox One.
