Discus and support Xbox 360 system link over wireless network in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have two 360 consoles - one premium with wireless adapter and one E - and both connected to the wifi network in my home.     Xbox 360 system link over wireless network


    I have two 360 consoles - one premium with wireless adapter and one E - and both connected to the wifi network in my home. Can I use this wifi network connection to system link the two consoles? I've tried using the ad hoc network to system link console
    to console, but when the network is set up the other console can't see it, I think because of the distance between the two.

    Microsoft support say the wireless network connection should allow system link, but in COD Black Ops II I can't get system link to work across the existing network. Any ideas/help would be much appreciated.

    Could system-link work over a wireless connection?

    Right now i use a 100ft crossover cable to play Reach and GoW1 over system-link. If buy 2 wireless network adapters for my 360 arcade console, can system link still work?

    Hi Limits,

    Thanks for reaching out and keeping us updated! We appreciate your efforts thus far. Now, concerning the Xbox 360 Link system, it is meant for Local play and not online play. So in this case you would not need to set change the network settings after connecting
    the crossover cables. You can connect two to four Xbox 360 consoles together for

    system link play     by using Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapters or the built-in wireless networking in an Xbox 360 S or Xbox 360 E console. An Internet connection isn't necessary to create this type of link, and the console-to-console connection is typically
    temporary.

    Side Note: You cannot mix wireless and wired connections in the same system link play configuration.
