  1. XBox 360 Support

I am writing this because I am becoming very dissapointed with Xbox (Microsoft). As I was serving in Iraq in 2006/2007, my wife bought me a Xbox which cost over $600 and sent it to me for Christmas. I was in heaven and every minute I had to play on it, I
was on it. Not long after I started playing it, it started freezing up, in which I would turn it off for a few mins, turn it back on and I was good to go. Being I was in Iraq, no Xbox support there, and I had no way of contacting Xbox or really sending it
back for repairs. About two weeks after returning home, my Xbox stop working. I get on the Internet and find out about the Red Ring of Death. Now, you got it, warranty is out and I am stuck with a brick, paper weight, whatever you want to call it. I found
a guy that said he could fix the Xbox for $50. Great, I will do that. About 1.5 weeks after getting it back, same thing again, RRD. I was so into Halo, which started playing online in Iraq with a lot of other Soldiers. So, I was done, until I buy another one.
Now, when the Xbox 360 came out, I got one. Halo was back in the house. At this time, I was retired from the Army and had plenty of time to play it and I also got introduced to Far Cry which I am now also addicted to it. I have about 60 different games that
either my daughters or I play. Now, Halo 5 is coming out only on Xbox One, and you are now asking me to buy a Xbox One if I want to continue playing Halo. WoW, none of my games I currently have will work on the Xbox One, and none of the Xbox One games work
on the 360. I have spent over $5000 on equipment, games, and Xbox Live, and now you're telling me I have to buy another gaming system if I want to continue playing the newer version games that I have played for years. I have been had bad by Microsoft and I
feel this is so unfair. I am not one of those that have to keep up with the Joneses, got to have the greatest latest on the block. My Xbox 360 has so much life left in it and I cannot for the life of it, see why I should be dorked over by having to buy another
systems in order to play the new releases that I started playing years ago. What are we doing here and why do we have to deal with issues like this? Please help me to understand this!

    :)

  3. Whats the Rock Band Premium Mic like?

I've just picked this up from (Xbox 360 Official Rock Band Premium Mic (Xbox 360) £10.95 - Free Delivery) for £10.95 and think it's ace!

It says on the FAQ on the official site that it works with other singing games and that you can connect 2 mics to the same console for games that support dual singing modes....so my question is....will this work with LIPS?

BULLARDJH hey there XBox 360 Support :)

I understand your frustration but I am sure you can appreciate that as games get better and better, the equipment they run off also needs to eventually get better. I am going to use Dead Rising 3 as an example here. That game couldn't physically work on
the Xbox 360 as it was too advanced in some respects, so it was put to Xbox One. Halo 5 will be the same, it is too advanced to be put on Xbox 360. Maybe they could make a watered down version (if that's a fair phrase to use) of the game for the Xbox 360 but
that would take time and cost extra money and although I can't speak for the developer, my best guess is that they want to utilize most of their resource into the next gen.

You are of course free to air your opinions over on the feedback site but please do note that the Xbox 360 is still being supported, and will likely continue to be supported for a good while longer.

  5. This is not good. The Xbox 360 is still being sold in the stores today, but the games coming out today cannot be played on the 360 and the Xbox 1 cannot play the 360's games. I understand that the games are being improved with better graphics and so on.
But at the same time, it is requiring coustomers to buy newer systems and maintain the older one also, in order for them to play the older games. You know, I mentioned in my first message, I have already bought 2 systems, first one RRD while in Iraq, not even
a 4 months old, the second one, still in like new condition, and now I am being told in order to play Halo 5, I am going to be required to buy another system. Far Cry 4 was just released 18 Nov 2014, and I pre-ordered it for the Xbox 360 and got it on 18 Nov
2014. I look back into 2014, and I see about 50 different releases for the Xbox 360 and many of them were also released for the Xbox 1. Now how can this happen and Halo 5 cannot? Also, it might be different if if a decent trade in value for the for the older
systems and games were offered. I am seriously thinking about canceling my Xbox Live and unplugging the Xbox and maybe starting over with a PS4, at least I will not have to buy games for a second time, and I can just say good-bye to Halo. WoW.....

  6. Thank you for the response XBox 360 Support :)

Again I do understand why you're upset, but this is how things have been in gaming for a long while now. It isn't just the Xbox, this happens on any platform at some time or another. Console exclusive titles eventually move forward to the next gen without
cross releasing on the last gen console.

Halo 3 wasn't on Xbox Original upon launch, it's just the way things work. If you look at the grand scheme of things, the 360 had a great amount of Halo content if you take into consideration all of the Halo branded games (both canon and non canon) that
    was released for it.

It is entirely your choice what you do with your future of gaming, I just want to be clear that this does happen on all platforms. Some games release cross gen, some do not. It mostly falls down to the developer and their decisions on how to proceed with
    their projects.

I wish you all the best.

    Many thanks,

  7. I understand where you are coming from, but i do not understand why this has to be limited just to the Xbox 1. In the past, games have been released for both versions, and now Halo 5 is coming out for only one verison. Who and how can I express my dislikes
with the higher up? I am looking for someone that might care to listen to me and others, as well as maybe do something about it.
