    Hi!

    I'm completely new to this venue. I've tried to contact Microsoft Xbox support directly to no avail. It took me an hour just to figure this out and come here for help. So my question and problem below may not exactly fit this particular forum but I don't
    know where else to go to address and get answers.

    As i said, next to impossible to email Microsoft for support. Spent almost 1/2 hour trying to contact support directly to no avail. Makes no sense.

    Anyway, I have Xbox 360 (I'm a retiree and got this as a gift. Don't play many games but I do play from time to time.) I just really would like to use Xbox 360 to access internet streaming apps. Everything is connected to internet and is operating fine.
    I can play games, etc. Problem is I can't access internet streaming. It goes to PC and states it is not listed and something about I need Microsoft to access. I do not have any Microsoft devices except Xbox 360. My computer is Apple. However Xbox 360 is connected
    via my router and router connection is strong and excellent. So don't understand the problem. If I need to reconfigure. Not sure what to do. Again everything is fine and I'm getting access to everything but internet streaming access. Also I think I'm signed
    into regular Xbox live but not 100% sure. All things indicate that I am but again certain. If I need to redo please advise and show me the steps. Not interested in Gold membership. Again only want to play my games and access internet streaming. Thanks to any
    and everyone for your time patience and understanding in this regard. If I'm in the wrong section or forum, I apologize. At this point, I don't know what else or where else to go for help.

    You can't connect the Xbox 360 to the Xbox App. Only the Xbox One can stream to the Xbox App.

    Long explanation:

    The Xbox One has specifically resources reserved to record or stream the console's video output, so you can stream to Beam or Twitch, or record your Gameplay.

    The Xbox 360 does not have these resources. And since compressing and streaming video requires a lot of CPU power, and the Xbox 360 is uses nearly 98% CPU resources for rendering games (the rest is used for Guide, Parties and background music), the Xbox
    360 also can't get an update to allow game streaming.

    In short: It's not possible to connect the Xbox App to the 360.

    I learnee something new today>>>Elgato. I didnt know it was possible to stream from Xbox 360. I know they added the Twitch app to Xbox 360 but you can't stream for it. You only could watch streams.

    You can't move music from any iOS device to your Xbox 360, but you can stream your music to your Xbox 360 via an app in the App Store (no jailbreaking required).

    AirMusic streams your music to your Xbox 360 (or PS3).

    media:connect streams any media (music, videos, images) to your Xbox 360, but requires a little bit more of a setup. I have personally tried this app,
    and it works fine from my iPhone 4S as well as my wife's iPad 2.

    Are you talking about streaming from an Xbox 360 device, or streaming 360 backwards compatible games on the Xbox One? I thought you could already stream the 360 games on Xbox One via the Xbox Console Companion app on Windows or Xbox Streaming app on mobile
    (streaming from your console). Or are you talking about 360 games via xCloud? If it's xCloud, then they haven't said, but I would imagine they would add some titles from 360 and original Xbox via the service. I don't know what goes into getting each title
    into and work with the service, but it would be cool and can't be too bad compared to Xbox One titles as they improve the service.

    To clarify, they have not announced anything, so no official word, but it is not impossible and I would say (again, stressing this is speculation) that it is likely as the service is fleshed out.
