    Xbox 360 store terribly slow

Recently i've noticed problems when trying to access games in the store on when pressing X for game details or the disc icon or game tiles.

I get a spinning circle that lasts a minute. It's extremely annoying and not a very pleasant experience.

I have tried everything I can think of to fix it. Wired, 2.4Ghz Wireless, 5Ghz Wireless. 5Ghz AC wireless via a bridge, running initial setup again, clearing the cache, checking the HDD's for corrupt file, redownloading profiles etc.

Nothing I do will fix the issue. I first realised how bad it was about a week ago but I suppose it could have been caused by the last dashboard update.

Now I have loads of games installed as well as DLC. About 216 games are currently installed.

Is it because the 360 software can't cope with owning so many games or is it the xbox live service causing this.

And I have already ruled out it being caused by a large download history or large profile size because I tried a spare profile and got exactly the same experience.

    :)

Problems on dashboards (Xbox ONE ELITE), Games are not updated when the Xbox is turned off. Add czech language and support on Xbox console.

Why is the menu and general Xbox Dashboard so stuck?

Opening, for example, the library from the game is terribly slow. The same opening or searching in the Xbox Store.

    Hello,

I too have a large download bas eof games - 220 - and find the system slow at even loading their picks let alone selecting them.

Is your system slow when playing games online etc? If so here is a step by step guide by XBOX :

    support.xbox.com/.../slow-performance-solution

They refer to this for nay slow performance.

It is possible that as more updates are aimed at the new ONE console then these updates, like on computers, will slow down older systems. It's a sad fact.

I will include the best way to clear the cache and system just in case you have a minor glitch:

    1. Remove profile - SETTINGS page (far right from home page), select STORAGE, then find your profile and remove.

    2. While in your hard drive under GAMES & APPS look for any red or yellow icons with incomplete or unknown. Delete them. (This may include the game you are trying to fix)

    3. Clear System Cache - SETTINGS page, select STORAGE and highlight a drive but don't select it. Press Y and select Clear System Cache. Agree when asked.

    4. Be Patient - turn your console off for a full minute. This assists in resetting the console.

    5. Turn on the console and download your profile - it is the icon next to 'create a profile'.

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck & happy gaming

    Thanks for your reply.

I've actually tried all that. I spent ages going through everything looking for exclamations. I did find 2 in the avatars but deleting them did nothing for the speed.

I've cleared the system cache multiple time. Deleted the content cache file as well as marketplace data.

I've also deleted and redownloaded the profile.

The only thing I didn't do was turn the console off for a minute between deleting and redownloading the console so i'll keep my fingers crossed and try that.

Did any of you pick up MoH: Warfighter?

Beta was terrible and the first MoH (on Xbox 360) was terrible, equals pass

    did the kinect patch release?

I have no illusions about the Kinect and it's capabilities. I know that it will be slow. Not terribly slow, but slow enough that menus are more prudent. The only things that are really useful with it will be quciksave and Follower Commands. The rest is just
    a button away.
