XBOX 360 store no longer accessible on XBOX one

After the Cortana update I discovered that there was no Xbox 360 store. I searched everywhere and looked all over the web and no one seemed to be experiencing this issue. I called Microsoft twice, and after waiting for 90 minutes on both calls they
"claim" a ticket was open, yet I never received a receipt supporting this "fact" I can no longer access the 360 store and no one at Microsoft has ever heard of such a thing. After going through all these steps with technical support. Both "techs"claim that
this is unheard of. the same steps I already went through on my own, I was blindly transferred to another representative and had to explain the whole thing over. (very frustrating), and very rude. As a call center director myself, that's just not a good business
    practice.

Suffice to say that the issue remains unresolved and no one there seems to have a clue. (big surprise). I have been a Microsoft supporter from the beginning and its examples like these that prompts me to return to my PS4 as my experience with their
customer service has been a lot better.(surprisingly). A tech company that employs people with no clue or strategy on fixing issues is a fail for the consumer. Its things like these that make it possible for your competitors to surpass you which is why Sony
    has done just that.

    :)

  2. A system update is required to sign in to Xbox LIVE, but the update is currently unavailable.

Xbox 360 is getting disestablished. It's best to consider selling the system. I mean it's no longer playable or accessible. Only Xbox One is playable.

  3. Purchased games no longer accessible on XBOX

You don't own the games that were already installed the previous owner does. You will need the account that used the product key originally to be able to download it again

I'm not quite understanding myself what it is you're exactly looking for.

The Store is accessible from the main menu by pressing the right bumper three times. I think before the update, this would break up the store tabs (on top of the screen) into several media categories (Games, Apps, Movies, Music). However, with the current
update, the store is kept as one tab and all the categories are accessed by scrolling down.

If you're looking for the entire library of Xbox 360 games, it's best to just browse the store from the Xbox 360 console. The store pages on the Xbox One seem to filter out Xbox 360 games that aren't backward compatible with the Xbox One (e.g. search "Halo
    3").

As Internet expert pointed out its is viewable but it's an integrated tab

And you can't view them seperately

If you want to do that you must use the webpage even sony has a limited selection of games even less then xbox one as far as backwards compatibility goes and theirs is paid or repackaged

If you truly work in a call center then use your experience

First there is no one anyone can transfer you to help you

What you are talking about is above anything anyone in a call centers can do

That's network engineers who you cannot talk to anyways

Even Sony won't help you with that

  7. Please try to clarify what it is you're looking for.

How exactly did you access this "Xbox 360" store before the system update with Cortana? What is an example item you'd try to look for? An Xbox 360 game? An add-on? A demo? Etc?

Are you having network troubles preventing you from loading the Store? Is there an error message?

Have you joined the Preview Program, installed the Preview build OS, and it is preventing you from accessing the Store altogether?

If neither phone support or the forums can assist you, we're all at an impasse.

  8. XBOX 360 store no longer accessible on XBOX one

    Hey there ViceroyJustice,

I just wanted to jump in here to see if I can potentially help clarify. The Xbox 360 store and Xbox One store are separate, there is no way to access the full Xbox 360 console store on Xbox One.

However, you can access a section of Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games on the Xbox One store. You do this by going to the Store page and selecting " Browse games" once you're on the main Games page scroll down to the Backward Compatible section and select
"View all" it sounds to me like this is what you are searching for.

In that section you can purchase Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One. As Internet Expert and ngocphi stated, it's not possible to view the entire Xbox 360 catalog on the Xbox One console. To view everything for sale, you'd need to view the store on either
    an Xbox 360 or Xbox.com.

It's also important to not that not all Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games are purchasable on the Xbox One console and need to be purchased on xbox.com or on an Xbox 360.
