    XBox 360 stopping other devices from turning on?


    Recently, my TV stopped turning on, we moved a new TV in and the new one was working. I moved the Xbox 360 to my desk, where my printer is, and my printer started having the same problem. I unplugged the Xbox 360 and the printer was working, then I plugged
    the Xbox 360 back in, and it stopped working. Then, a few hours later I tried turning on my TV and it works again. I put the Xbox 360 back to the TV, and my TV stopped working again.

    I have a theory on this, do you have many wireless devices in your house? Another wireless device may be conflicting with the channels so try turning off other wireless devices and seeing if the problem persists.

    Also do you have a Xbox 360 S? if so the touch sensitive plates may be a little dirty, try turning the Xbox off from the mains and give the console a good clean.

    Failing that I recommend phoning Xbox Support, you may have a faulty Xbox although this particular issue is something I've not heard of before.

    Experiencing lag when playing?

    What's your internet connection speed? Are other devices connected to the internet aside from Xbox? I guess the problem lies with the internet connection. Do a test at speedtest.net. In case the speed is okay try to see if the other devices are eating up your internet speed by turning them off and focus on Xbox One.

    Just so you can clarify; when you say, "stopping other devices from turning on", you literally mean that when your Xbox is connected to your TV set, the TV will not power on. Same phenomenon when you connect your console to the same power outlet(?) as your
    printer, the printer will not power on?

    Thanks for the support message.

    To ensure that the drive is compatible with your Xbox 360 console, please check with the devices manufacturer.

    Are you receiving any errors or is your 360 simply not recognizing the device?

    Below are a couple of troubleshooting steps to try:

    If the USB device is compatible with Xbox 360, troubleshoot the USB connection:

    1. Restart the Xbox 360 console.
    2. Disconnect the device from the USB port, and then turn off the console. After 5 to 10 seconds, turn the console back on. After the console has restarted, reconnect the device to the USB port.
    3. Turn off the console, remove the power cord from the power outlet, reconnect the power cord, and then turn on the console again.
    4. Disconnect any unnecessary devices from the console.
    5. Determine whether the USB device requires a separate power supply. If it does, attach the power supply.
    6. Connect the USB device to a different USB port on the console. If the device works in another USB port, the Xbox 360 console may need service.

    I'm assuming you purchased the game for Xbox, as you cannot get it for the PC on the Microsoft Store. You haven't stated if you purchased the game for the Xbox 360 or Xbox One.

    If it is for the Xbox 360, try stopping the download, then go to settings - system - storage, select the storage device the game has downloaded to, and scroll down to the game, and delete it from the hard drive, then go into your download history on the
    console, and start the download again.

    If for Xbox One, again stop the download, then do a power cycle (press and hold power button down on the console until it turns off), then turn it back on, and try downloading the game again.

    They could but you gotta remember those servers would be shut down now support ended awhile ago

    You have to.remember 3,rd parties won't keep servers up for games that arent selling since 360 games are out of print no new sales with the.exception of.bc titles even than the marketplace is shutting down in July
