    I’ve sold my son’s XBox 360 without realising I’d left his old account set up on it. I’ve deleted the device from the family Microsoft account as well deleting stored credit card details but the person who bought it has contacted me asking for the family pass code and now he’s asking for my son’s favourite childhood book. Is he not able to remove the account and just set up his own without this information? I don’t want to have sold a dud XBox but equally I’m reluctant to give out this information. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    change the password on your sons account immediately, if the person wants the passcode removing tell them to bring back to you so that you can wipe it.

    Xbox 360 games won't work on the one that is true but a license transfer is still a license transfer and will more than likely cause licensing issues for the games on the sold 360 console.
