Xbox 360 SmartGlass not working

hi there, I’ve been trying to connect SmartGlass for Xbox 360 to my Xbox 360 console and I keep getting the message that it cannot find the console.

I have used a windows phone, iPad and iPhone on 10.3.3 operating system without any luck.

I was wondering if this is a known issue and if SmartGlass for 360 is no longer supported and so this isn’t going to be fixed?

Please let me know either way.

Xbox 360 Smartglass not working properly

My sincerest apologies! I had missed your replies over the course of E3 and the aftermath. As I stated, I would be back when I had an update for you, and now I have one!

We've been told that this has been resolved. Please give it a try now and let us know if you are still running into issues. I am sorry to see how long it took to get this resolved, but you should be all set now.

 

Smart glass won't connect

I just got the Xbox 360 Smartglass app and it wont connect to my Xbox 360.

I'm signed it to my account on the Xbox and on my Surface 2 but it is still not working?

Anybody got some solutions?

 

I am having the same problem. SmartGlass for Xbox 360 says it cannot find my console.

My Xbox 360 console is connected via Wifi. I have tried connecting with the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app via Windows 10 (2 different PCs - one Wifi, one wired), Android phone, Windows Mobile 10 and iPad.

I have tried restarting all of my networking equipment and devices multiple times.

The error I receive is 0xc00d11cd (0xc101000c) on the Windows 10 PCs.

The Windows Mobile 10 phone says Status code: 1012

I have tried all the suggested steps - making sure console is on, making sure I'm using the same Microsoft account, and I have the Connected Devices setting enabled on the console.

 

Same problem for me.

The app succesfully sign in. By either using the Games app on the phone or directly in the Smartglass. But when in the Smartglass, it can't find the console on the same network.

It gives up after the first attempt and the Try Again button returns nothing. It says it can't find console. Error code 1012.

I've tested in a Windows Phone 8.1 and in an Android.

Please fix the app!

Same issue as the rest of you. I am trying to connect using an Android Galaxy S8, and I also tried using my Windows 8 laptop. My Xbox 360 is connected to the internet via Ethernet. The 360 Smartglass app will bring up my profile but will not connect to my
Xbox 360, so it can not be used for the in-game benefits. I checked my console settings, and yes, it allows for Smartglass connectivity.

I guess they ended support for 360 Smartglass after only a couple of years, and decided not to tell their consumers. And so far, they've been ignoring the posts here too. Doesn't look good on their part.

 

Same issue as the rest of you. I am trying to connect using Windows 10 laptop (version 1709 and connected ehternet) and Windows 10 Surface (versión 1709 and connected wifi). My Xbox 360 is connected to the internet via Ethernet. The 360 Smartglass
app will bring up my profile but will not connect to my Xbox 360 (console settings allows for Smartglass connectivity)

 

Same issue as the rest here. The app loads and runs but will not connect to the 360. All settings are as they should be. Please fix.

 

Same issue. Troubleshooting every step results in failure.

It has too be a service side issue. Xbox has stuffed around with the dashboard or the app resulting in not being able too connect anymore. It's really disappointing

Have contacted support multiple times too get a resolution but just get 'we will investigate and escalate' which seems like 'yeah we dont care'

Or they blame my connection? Hello. Xbox one smartglass connects fine. How could my connection be the problem?

Yup, basically the same thing. Getting error code 0xc101008e (0x800c0008). Checking everyday.

 

same thing here. Microsoft has stated multiple times that they would continue to support the 360. Please don’t let this be the beginning of the end for the 360 Support. Please get the 360 smartglass app fixed.
