Xbox 360 Smartglass not working properly

When i try to connect any of my windows devices to my xbox with smartglass, they send me to the screen that says "unable to find console", and nothing on the xbox support page actually works.

I have even tried reinstalling the Xbox 360 Smartglass app multiple times, and that doesn't fix anything.

We received a used xbox 360 S from a friend. We can't seem to sign in or create a new profile to play any games. The system update won't take. Clearing the cache won't work, nor deleting profiles etc. It won't connect to xbox live either (even though
it gets as far as connecting to our wifi). There are some corrupted files (in memory and profile) We can't format either. I'm worried the internal HD is bad. However, ours has the internal memory unit 4GB which can't be removed. If we purchase a new hard
drive, will it even help?

The steps above are all valide but, like many other things HDD are still susceptible to breaking or wearing out! I myself experienced a similiar problem! If those steps above did not work you may have to buy a new hard drive! Yours could have become corrupt!
If this is the case even a reformat will not help, u must buy a new one! I'm sorry your having these problems but maybe our answers have helped you in some way and you can get back to the unmatched experience which is the xbox! Thank you for being a loyal

the Surface or any of the phones, so I want to make sure we have all the proper steps here.

You've already reinstalled the app, which is generally our first suggestion. Once I know which device you're on, we'll be able to give you some more specific troubleshooting steps. However, if you can post back with when you started noticing this as well,
it would be much appreciated!

Thanks for the clarification, anikun2k12! Just to make sure we've got everything set up appropriately, you have your devices set up on the same network as your 360, correct? I assume that the desktop is, but I just want to be sure first.

Yes, both devices are on the same network as my Xbox 360 as well as all of them under the same Microsoft account

Alrighty, and I have tried a refresh on my tablet as well, and that doesn't do anything

My sincerest apologies! I had missed your replies over the course of E3 and the aftermath. As I stated, I would be back when I had an update for you, and now I have one!

We've been told that this has been resolved. Please give it a try now and let us know if you are still running into issues. I am sorry to see how long it took to get this resolved, but you should be all set now.

 

its working again, and as I said in an earlier post, it wasn't just me, so the other people who were having the issue as well should be happy now as well

 

Forza Horizon is not working in Xbox smart glass any suggested please reply.
