Xbox 360 smartglass issue

Why wouldnt microsoft at least allow a program to still be used so us people who still enjoy playing on xbox 360 still be able to connect our PCs or mobile devices to it remotely. I am starting to look forward to getting the playstation 5 and leave microsoft
all together with so many complications. i understand if you dont want to continue support for the app. but why not at least keep it open and available? you have so much money and resources. it makes no sense, unless well all you guys think about is the dollar
bill. even just the xbox app will still not even let me connect to my xbox 360.. like...... guess RGH and play for free it is.
