Xbox 360 smartglass.....can't find your console?!?

I really don't know what to do!

For the first time, yesterday, i've decided to install the smartglass app on my iphone 5 to sync with my 360. I found my account perfectly! I see all the games i've been playing recently and everything but..........when i hit the ¨connect to xbox 360¨ button,
all i see is ¨Can't find your console¨

I have searched for nearly 2 hours for solution but nothing helps!

Yes,

-Both my console and iphone are connected to the same account.

-My Xbox 360 is set on ¨ON¨ for the smartglass app

-I reboot my console I don't know how many times.

By the way, some forum said that the smartglass app only sync with @msn.com accounts.... I hope it's not true since mine is @hotmail.com

So please, SOMEONE, am I trying to hard or is the app simply dead?

Still no update on either the app or the 360.

Nothing helps and nothing works.

When will this be fixed?

Xbox is wired to modem, phone (galaxy S6 edge) was on both 2,4 and 5 gHz Wi-Fi.

so is anyone going to fix it? It's been weeks and still not working. As a last ditch effort I even bought a new modem/router to see if that would help them connect on the network
