    Xbox 360 Slim wifi problems

It wont let me connect to my wifi at home, it worked while I was at school... my room at my house is located directly above the router, so I know I am plenty close to it. All it says is that I need a wireless adapter to connect to live. Quote from the message
    they say....

"To use a wireless Internet connection, connect to an Xbox wireless Networking adapter to your console."

This is the only message it says and if I have a slim i shouldn't need a wireless adapter, I know it can connect to my wifi at my home because it has in the past and it did at school. I always take care of it when i transport it from area to area so i know
    damage is not the problem.

If anybody could help in anyway I would very much appreciate that.

    :)

  3. built-in wireless adapter

    Hello.

If you have a Xbox 360 Slim (which as built-in wifi) and you are asked to attach an external networking adapter or an ethernet cable, then the internal wifi has malfunctioned and your Xbox 360 Slim will need to be repaired.

In most cases, this problem is a genuine hardware error and the console need a repair. Before arranging a repair, unplug the Xbox power supply and keep it powered down for 10 minutes. Reconnect everything and try to restore your console's network settings to
    factory defaults.

If the above do not resolve the problem, you'll have to request a repair for your console at myservice.xbox.com.

Post back and let us know how it goes.
