Xbox 360 slim turns off minutes after being turned on.

So i turn my Xbox on to play, and before I can sign into my account the ding noise it makes when turning off happends and it just shuts down. Then if I do nothing sometimes within a couple minutes it turns back on by itself then after a min or so it turns back off.

The power brick never displays anything but a green light during "on" moments, and "orange " during off time.

I have just enough time to go to setting and play with them. I have auto off turned off and as for a cool location, its 70-72 in the house at all times and its on the top shelf by itself, nothing on top of it or Next to it to block the fan. Ive read a few instances about a fix for some users being changing electrical sockets, which ive done to no success and u cleaned the on \ off button and no luck luck there.

If you have any suggestions, no matter how unlikely, if theres a probable chance it will fix the situation, then id like to hear it.

First, is there any kind of error code?

Is it in a totally ventilated area?

I would also use a microfiber cloth and wipe the power button incase there is some dirt in there. It is a very sensitive button on the slim so I would try to clean that.

I found that it would turn off half way into the game if I had ALL my video inputs plugged in (HD and SD cables). By this I mean that I had the red, white, yellow cables plugged in as well as the blue, green cables. Once I unplugged the yellow cable it worked
fine. It might have something to do with the graphics of the game overloading the system/ inputs.

I'm having the same issue. I went through all of the steps outlined in the No Power Solution like Venom mentioned, I even bought a replacement power brick, but it still shut off after about 20 minutes. I thought it could possibly be overheating, but I've
had it in the same place for over a year and a half and this just started recently.
