    Hello, so one day I came home from school and my Xbox 360 Slim turns on but like 0.5 seconds later it turns back off and the power brick turns red. Before I turn it on the power brick is yellow. I tried everything to fix but nothing works. So, I ordered
    a new power brick and when I plug it in to my Xbox it turns on for like 3 seconds and turns right back off but the light is orange when it turns off. Help! Is there something wrong with my Xbox 360 Slim instead?

    Remove all accessories. If it still shuts off then it needs to be sent in for repair.

    Hey Templar! Try this,1. Turn on your Xbox 360 slim 2. Connect the data transfer cable to the back of the Xbox 360(with the old HDD already plugged up) 3. Turn off your Xbox 360 and then turn it back on. Try that and reply with updates.Happy gaming!

    I have the same problem and all i do is just keep using the controller to turn it on as soon as it turns itself off and eventually it will just stay on trust me i know its a pain

    It could be overheating. Either that, or you may need a new power supply. Does your power button start flashing red?
