    Xbox 360 Slim turns off by itself.


    I'm currently having trouble with my Xbox 360 Slim where it turns off by itself after a minute or two. The power brick shows its green when I have the Xbox turned on and the auto turn off feature isn't turned on as well but it still turns off by itself. Does anyone know of any possible reasons why this is happening?

    Have you left it unplugged for a while? If its not even turning on then its pointing towards an internal hardware issue.

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with the 360. Its no overheating is it? Make sure all the vents are clear of dust. If its not full of dust, sounds like there is a hardware issue inside the console.

    The Xbox 360 console can unexpectedly turn off under the following circumstances:

    The Auto-Off setting is enabled, and the console has been inactive for six hours.

    The console is too hot.

    There is a problem with the power supply.

    I also notice that the power button on my Xbox S can be a bit sensitive, so I would double check that nothing Is close to touching It nearby.
