Xbox 360 Slim turning itself off..

Discus and support Xbox 360 Slim turning itself off.. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It stays on for around a minute, then turns itself off completely, and i can't turn it back on until i unplug the cord and plug it back in. took it...     Xbox 360 Slim turning itself off..


    It stays on for around a minute, then turns itself off completely, and i can't turn it back on until i unplug the cord and plug it back in. took it apart and cleaned the fan and the sensor, no changes. i've also tested different power boxes/cords and different
    power points to no avail. hoping to get some answers. thanks!

    Xbox 360 Slim Keeps Turning on and Off by itself

    To start off my xbox 360 started last month turning itself off and changing the screen resolution and after the recent Beta update the console is now turning itself on and off by itself.

    The console is a 250gb Xbox 360 Slim and I am using the Hd component cables, I have tried to use a hdmi cable and it still does the same thing.

    My 250 gig Slim console is also randomly turning itself off and resetting the display options...

    As you've admitted to opening your console yourself & trying a self repair there's nothing anyone here can do to help.

    Well we can't just give up so easy Daft badger but I agree don't open your console i suggest getting a hair dryer and go over the fan and the vents for about 10-15min and it should work when my Xbox would do that that's what i would do with a hair dryer
    and it actually helped try doing that ebonylouisee it should help you I hope it does.

    Turns out the faceplate and the sensor cable was a little dodgy. Took the faceplate off completely and used the controller to turn the console on and it's been fine ever since. I'll head online and grab a new faceplate and all should be good! Thank you!

    Have you left it unplugged for a while? If its not even turning on then its pointing towards an internal hardware issue.

    Sorry to hear you are having issues with the 360. Its no overheating is it? Make sure all the vents are clear of dust. If its not full of dust, sounds like there is a hardware issue inside the console.

    The Xbox 360 console can unexpectedly turn off under the following circumstances:

    The Auto-Off setting is enabled, and the console has been inactive for six hours.

    The console is too hot.

    There is a problem with the power supply.

    I also notice that the power button on my Xbox S can be a bit sensitive, so I would double check that nothing Is close to touching It nearby.
