Xbox 360 slim star wars edition shuts off

so when i was younger, i would always leave the xbox 360 on and now, because of that probably, my xbox shuts off after a few moments (not always the same time) and i checked, the cable is fine and there is nothing special with the colors of the lights
of the cable and the console. Is there a solution to fix this?

You could start with trying out different outlets and power supplies if you have any extra, or know someone that can lend you theirs.

So that way you can test out a different power supply before committing to buying one.

I've just recently bought the Xbox 360 Star Wars edition console and when I first turn it on it keeps chirping and then shortly after it shuts off.. I've even replaced the power supply. Yet it's still doing it

The start wars limited edition is always a slim model, as far as I know there aren't any non slim limited edition star wars models

lol, it's not Slim, it's New Star Wars 360 with Kinect.

EDIT:

the old 360 i have are Pro version, and it's been in running for very long long time since 2008 and i put it away in my computer room's Gaming boxes as an back up in case something goes wrong with new Star Wars Xbox 360 with Kinect.

I bought the special edition Star wars 360 slim, My power supply died after 2 weeks. Doesnt surprise me one bit
