Xbox 360 slim Random Shutoff

Discus and support Xbox 360 slim Random Shutoff in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; recently whenever i turn off my xbox what happens is it will not stay on for longer then a few seconds before shutting off.     Xbox 360 slim Random Shutoff


    recently whenever i turn off my xbox what happens is it will not stay on for longer then a few seconds before shutting off. It only started happening recently and i tryed new power outlet cleaned the sensor and even took off front panel to clean it and it
    has not helped.

    Of course it is quite a bit bigger than the 360 slim, the original Xbox 360 was bigger than the slim, I'm sure it's bigger than the Xbox One slim will be too. That's the point of releasing the slim versions later on. But it is only 2.4cm longer than the original Xbox 360, which is what it should be compared to, not the revised, shrunk later released versions.

    Not much in it really.

    Minecraft won't stop freezing...

    Well seeing as the 360 only has 512mb of ram, I'm not really surprised... Sounds like it's using it all up and forces the 360 to shutoff.

    The problem seems to have fixed itself but i dont know what was causing it but its fine now thanks.

    Can't connect via Wired Network

    The power did shutoff about a week ago, I can't remember if it was because of a storm or not because I was sleeping, but the xbox wasn't on at that time, and there was no cable in the ethernet slot. The xbox's PSU is also connected to a surge protector.

    I forgot to mention this is also the slim version.

    Is there also supposed to be some kind of small light coming from the ethernet port on the xbox? Because I don't see one at all.
