Xbox 360 Slim not connecting to xbox live-live error code-

Ok, at this point for me to have to post on the forums, it means I have did my research and have not found a solution. My problem is as follows: my xbox 360 slim will not connect to xbox live. We moved into a new house about 3 months ago, the service providers
came out and hooked it up and my 360 and xbox one connected beautifully and i haven't ran into a problem since, until now. It started happening last Wednesday (5/28). I'd drop parties, game lag issues, and overall sluggish performance. The troubleshooting
steps I have used are restarting my router, setting static ip for my 360, port forwarding, turning off my wireless turtle beaches (heard they might cause wifi interference), clearing system cache, formatted all my memory (both internal and 320gb hard drive,
regret it now), extended power cycles, disabling uPnP and the list goes on. So to seek further help. Here I am. saddened and disappointed. Oh to take my mind off of my 360 for a while, I resumed my campaign on watchdogs and guess what. It kept freezing at
the loading screen. Can you imagine how upset I was with my xbox(s)? Anyways. Off topic I really want this fixed. Here's the tech stuff

The error code it gives me when I can't connect 8015000B (looked it up, it doesn't exist?)

xbox 360 xbox live connection issues

My xbox 360 is not connecting to xbox live. It's connecting to internet but not to the xbox live. No error codes are being displayed

Hi, I have an xbox 360 slim and have just bought a kinect. I can access my xbox account online but am having trouble connecting the console to xbox live. I get the error code: 80151011. The forum doesn't seem to answer my problem, ? Update problem?

you said you manually assigned your ip settings?

your Gateway and primary dns server should be set to 192.168.254.1, could you give it a try without any other Change

 

The gateway is your router IP address, right?

my router ip is 192.168.254.254. The ip I set for my xbox is 192.168.254.30

 

Is Xbox live down? I've barely ever had a problem connecting to it before & I see there are service warnings. For 2 days I've been unable to connect, their service department was useless, and I've tried all their suggestions. I'm sure they're not going
to try to find a way to make it up to us, so does anyone know how playstation's online is. Was going to by an xbox one, but not so sure now.

 

My xbox one connects to live perfectly, it's just my 360.

 

I have the same issue. Suddenly I was disconnected from Live and I could never connect anymore. The XBOX 360 can connect to the router, but cannot access to internet. I tried with another WiFi but it's the same.

 

I'm in the EXACT same boat as you. None of my friends are experiencing issues, in the meantime I've just been playing Watchdogs on the Xbox One. This is not fun, way too stressful to be in a high-paced match of NHL 14 and randomly disconnecting from XBL
for no reason.....

 

And see the thing is, my gfs brother who lives with us. I got him to bring his xbox in my room, plug it up the same way and his connected. It even auto signed him in. Im at work at the moment but when I get home, I'm gonna set it up with his network configurations
and see if that works on mine. He can't play right now anyways, his monitors broken. If that doesn't work, My next steps are hardwiring it to the router to see if that works, if so I'm going to radio shack and buying a 50ft ethernet cable and running it from
the router to my room. I think it's something to do with how my xbox is communicating with my router. I'm not sure tho. I'm not a scientist. Is this Microsoft's way of weeding out 360 consoles and forcing us to play xbox one? I wish someone would assist us
with this. Maybe it had something to do with the service alerts?

 

I've hardwired it with Ethernet and it still doesn't work. I'm real close to cancelling my Live and getting a PS4, In fat I'm probably doing that right now, so good luck to all.
