    Xbox 360 Slim loading VERY SLOWLY


    My MW3 Xbox 360 slim has just recently started taking a long time to load. When you start the xbox it stays on the Xbox 360 logo for about 20 minutes. I need Help with this issue.

    Yesterday I tried to see if it would load faster without the Ethernet cable, it loads about normal time like what it used to. It showed the loading circle for about a half a second. So maybe it could be an internet problem.

    I'd recommend clearing your system cache 3x, setting a manual IP address, manual DNS servers of 4.2.2.2, and 4.2.2.3, port forwarding on your router, lowering firewall settings, disable dos protection, and try a direct connection to your modem/router with
    an Ethernet cable.

    I have deleted many things off of the HDD to maybe help it to load faster, I cleared the system cache over 5 times, and i just turned the xbox off and let it sit for about 3 hours just to let it cool off.

    Alright, thanks! Based on that, I'd recommend these following troubleshooting steps:

    If you have an external HDD:

    The issue may be related to the HDD itself; this can be checked by removing the HDD and then starting up your Xbox 360. If your issue is resolved, this points to a problem with the HDD.

    If you have a Kinect:

    Try unplugging it from the system and starting it up.

    Reset Network Settings:

    Go to:

    System settings -> Network settings -> [choose your network] -> Configure network -> Additional settings -> Restore to factory defaults.

    Let me know the results!

    i tried it all but nothing is working and by the way i am using the internal hdd. I saw a similar Thread and someone said it was the hdd failing. On the other hand one of the replies to the thread was they bought a new hard drive and it was still slow for
    them. I just don't want to have to buy a new hdd and the new one be slow also.

    Network issue. Especially if you deleted/redownloaded your profile. I've had similar issues in the past. Once was when my routers upnp wasn't working correctly...Solved by manually port forwarding and assigning an IP address. Second instance was resolved
    by deleting/redownloading profile. I sign in in about 4 seconds. Usually instantly.
