Xbox 360 Slim - Hard drive doesn't appear in list of values

since I made a transfer of memory hard drive xbox 360 s, on the external disk device, to copy data from a hard drive 250 ga a 500g hard drive, I can not see the internal hard drive and not even see the devices.

I was advised to format disks in fat32 and restart the console with factory settings.

but the internal disk is not seen.

I also performed the procedures of technical support xbox.

I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO MORE!

if someone can help me understand more

Since you just purchased the hard drive, you should probably return it and try another one.

If you read my post you will see that the hard drive doesn't show up in the list of values

It is the slim 4gb Xbox 360. The hard drive is a Go! Data 80gb external hard drive. It did work with the same slim xbox previously but now it doesn't.

Hi,

I thing you forget to format the Xbox hard drive.

Follow these steps.

(1 Go to the settings tab

(2 press System

(3 press Storage

There you should see the new hard drive

(4 Press the Y button on your controller

(5 Press format

It should work now.

WHAT I'M SAYING IS THAT THE XBOX 360 4GB SLIM IS INTERNAL & CAN HAVE A HARD DRIVE ADDED TO IT, WHEN THE XBOX 360 250GB SLIM IS ALREADY HARD DRIVE MEMORY AND HAS NO INTERNAL MEMORY, SO IF MONEY DOESN'T MATTER WHICH ONE WOULD ANYONE HERE CHOOSE, I RECKON GET
THE 4GB SLIM AND ADD THE HARD DRIVE BUT DO YOU GUYS THINK THE SAME???
