    Just had a 360 s given to me for my kid to play. He played it for about 2days and it started throwing a e79 error. I have tried booting without hard drive. Have tried another hard drive. Have tried holding sync button when powering on to delete any failed update. All with no success. Any help would be appreciated.

    Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer supports Xbox 360 consoles, but you can still take the console for repair at some service you trust.

    I have tried all of this. With no success. Not sure at this point it would be worth sending for repair.
