Xbox 360 Slim can't find Wireless router

Discus and support Xbox 360 Slim can't find Wireless router in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So, my xbox is having problems finding the router.     Xbox 360 Slim can't find Wireless router


    So, my xbox is having problems finding the router. I had the xbox directly wired in to the router, but moved the router to get better signal on the far end of my house... Now my xbox doesn't want to find a wireless connection for long. It searches and finds
    my router for a couple seconds, then drops... Does the same with neighborhood routers... Any ideas?

    360 Slim Doesn't See Network

    This could be because your wireless router is too far away from your Xbox360 Slim; therefore try moving it closer. You can also try restarting your wireless router and re-configuring it.

    Can it find any wireless networks, like your neighbours for example? Does it let you manually enter any wireless info in the Xbox dashboard?

    i fixed it, i just toke the wireless card out and put it back in. now it works fine again.

    I have no friends, my neighbours left with my wife cause im a xbox nerd who has no job

    You have a built in wireless system in the Xbox 360 Slim. What you need is a modem and router (prefer wireless since you already have WLAN on your Xbox 360) Install your router device and connect that to modem. On your Xbox 360, search for your router, here's

    Turns out my network router was just too crappy to support 2 of them, so I went out and bought a Linksys E3000 Wireless Router, set it up. But it has 5GHz and 2.4GHz but my old xbox(not slim) can use 5GHz, 2.4GHz, but new xbox slim can't? Any help.

    Same thing is happening to me. What Xbox do you have, the new slim? Ive been dcing too and I think I might have found the reason why, my new firewall I installed a couple weeks ago I believe was blocking or interfering with my Xbox wireless connection so
    I just turned my firewall off. Maybe its a problem with Xbox live or maybe there's a problem with the new Xbox 360 slim because I see a lot of post on different sites regarding this issue and most of the OPers have the new Xbox 360 slim. Now are you wireless
    or wired and if your wireless, how old is your wireless router and how far is your Xbox from the router?
